So what you are saying is that it is acceptable for Comet to run for eight days and then the ninth day they have to call us? SQL servers and other database programs work with Netbios names. Your reply is unacceptable, we shouldn't have to rely on the network administrator to make our software run, they should be able to renew their IP lease every hour if they chose to. We have customers for security reasons renew the address daily on the internal networks.
