COS.SetControlColors

To test this function, I made the following change to CTL5.IBS expecting to see the color of the text in the edit box change to something other than black.

But no changes were observed.
Am I missing something?

cosCtlId = IDC.FIRSTEDIT
gosub COS.SetDlgItemFocus

cosForeColor = 255
cosBackColor = 64000
cosGrayColor = 4096 Gosub COS.SetControlColors
