So your 2003 Server is running Comet16 and your 2008 Server is running Comet32 I presume? Looks like an issue with Comet32. We'll check it out. In the meantime, recode as follows:

FOR IX = 1 to 9
invoice.id$ = sub(invoice.id$,1,11) + strip(str(ix))
PRINT (CONSOLE,MOVETEST.FMT)
NEXT IX
