HELP!!! - COSW unable to load COSC

Just upgraded a customer to Win2003 server and Comet 2004 v348. The new XP workstations are working fine. Two of the older Win98 PC's have been upgraded to a fresh Win2K install. When I start COSW, from a short cut, I get a long wait (20 seconds or so) and then a message that COSW is unable to load COSC.

I've tried running COSW from a mapped drive. I've reset permissions to the Comet folder where 348 was installed and have also tried running COSW logged in as the domain administrator. I tried going back a version of two. 347 was rejected by Win2003 as not being 32bit. 346 installed. None of these worked.

Since, location and permissions seem to be OK, is there something else I can try. I have three more Win2K upgrades to go
